Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how MindDump collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you use our mobile application. We operate under a strict, minimalist data collection philosophy. Your thoughts belong to you, and we respect your digital privacy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information to provide you with a secure, synchronized diary experience.
- Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and password to secure your account. This is processed securely through Firebase Authentication.
- User Content: Your diary entries, thoughts, and logs are stored securely in Firestore. This data is private, encrypted in transit, and only accessible by you when logged into your account.
- Device Identifiers: We may process anonymous device identifiers to serve non-intrusive advertisements.
2. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to handle infrastructure and advertising. These services operate under their own privacy policies.
- Google Firebase: Used for secure user authentication and database hosting. No human reads your logs. Your data is stored on Google's secure servers.
- Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements within the application. AdMob may collect and use advertising IDs from your device to serve relevant ads.
3. Security of Your Data
We prioritize the security of your mental dumps. All database read and write requests are guarded by strict Firebase Security Rules, meaning only authenticated users can access their own specific documents. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Children's Privacy
MindDump does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
5. Your Rights
You have full control over your data. You can delete individual diary entries at any time directly within the application, which permanently deletes them from our database. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, you can do so in the application settings or by contacting us.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the date at the top.
7. Contact
If you have any questions or suggestions about this Privacy Policy, please reach out to us. We will handle your inquiry as quickly as possible.
